Volunteer Needs and Applications

Volunteer opportunities include the following roles:
Oak City Soccer provides soccer instruction to children on the autism spectrum or with sensory processing differences. We typically need 4-8 volunteers per 1 hour class consisting of head coaches, assistant coaches, and buddies. Volunteers help our athletes stay on task, navigate drills, model basic skills, encourage sportsmanship, and facilitate social interactions.
Volunteers can sign up individually as a buddy for any class available on the drop down menu below. If you'd like to participate in more than one class time or day, please indicate in the comments section to avoid having to fill out the form multiple times.
Volunteers interested in committing 1-2 hours each Sunday for the entirety of a 6 week season can apply via the Volunteer Assistant Coach application at the bottom of the page.

SEEKING VOLUNTEER ASSISTANT COACHES!
Oak City Soccer is seeking volunteer assistant coaches to make a one hour time commitment per week for six weeks season. You get to progress with the same group of athletes for an entire season to build a stronger rapport. This is an unpaid volunteer position. Volunteer head coaches must be 14 or older. Our volunteer coordinator will contact you after we receive your application to discuss further details.
